
Frank Shaw has lived in Boston for 3 years, studying at the New England Conservatory with violist, Martha Strongin Katz. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the Cleveland Institute of Music after graduating from the Interlochen Arts Academy in 2000. A native of Blacksburg, Virginia, Frank explored the piano, violin and percussion at an early age.
Frank has participated in numerous music festivals, including the Meadowmount School of Music, International Musicians’ Seminar at Prussia Cove, Taos School of Music, Kneisel Hall Chamber Music Festival, and Music@Menlo, working with members of the Audubon, Cleveland, Emerson, Fine Arts, Guarneri, Juilliard, and Takács String Quartets. In his spare time, Frank enjoys the culinary arts.
