Jeremy’s work invites us to a surrealist place above ground, focusing on textural brushstrokes and cool blue and gray shades. We are guided to appreciate the beauty of nature and dance. The Perkinson Trio, paired with Jeremy’s work, invites you to soar higher and higher through each gesture, with space to breathe and come into your own emotional response, before coming back down to a quiet resting place. In contrast, Ponce’s energetic pace summons us to be bold in our posturing much like Jeremy’s cerulean hued peacock.

While I have been into making art for a long time, I decided to fully pursue a career in the arts two years ago. I have been painting full time since. I am currently a graduate student at Tufts in the Art Education Program, and hope to teach high school painting starting next fall.
