As part of our 2023-24 Kaufman Music Center Residency, and to further explore the themes shared at our March 2 concert, A Far Cry will lead several experiential workshops using the orchestra as a model for society. Together, the Criers and community participants will musically model conformity, dissent, leadership and influence – all the while sharing our unique perspectives and lived experiences. Participants will be challenged to listen in new ways: to music, themselves and their communities.
