Mary Jaffee has a professional background in psychology, which she practiced for 20 years. In 1990, she returned to her family roots in music, most recently as Executive Director of Project STEP. The program addresses the racial imbalance in the make-up of the classical music industry by providing long-term, comprehensive music education to Black and Latino students who demonstrate musical ability and interest. In addition to being smitten by the positive energy, smarts, and musical chops of each member of A Far Cry, she is an avid concert-goer and loves being with her family, sailing, and gazing out at the ocean. Mary joined the board in June 2014.
