Step into the magical world of The Nutcracker with A Far Cry and discover the sound of movement!

This special Little Criers concert, presented from 11AM-12PM & 1-2PM at Boston Children’s Museum, explores how music expresses movement — how sound can tell a story and make us want to dance!

Designed for young learners (ages 3–8) and their grown-ups, this interactive performance invites everyone to listen, move, and create alongside members of A Far Cry, Boston’s Grammy-nominated, self-conducted string orchestra.

Live music performed from The Nutcracker Ballet by Tchaikovsky, a game that matches the music to moments in the story, and the chance to see real string instruments up close!
