VENUE ACCESSIBILITY
A Far Cry performs at several venues across Boston - please read below for current accessibility accommodations at each venue:
NEC’s Jordan Hall:

There is no bathroom on the second floor. Bathrooms are located down on the first floor and inside the theatre.
Elevator
Our elevator is located to the left of the front doors in the Jordan Hall Building. To call the elevator, hit the “Call for Assistance” button located on the lower right hand side before hitting the “up” button on the elevator. Tickets must be scanned by ushers on the first floor before heading into the hall or the second floor balcony. To enter the balcony from the elevator, ride the elevator to the second floor. Exit the elevator to your right. The door to the balcony is through the double doors on the left side.
Large Print
For large print programs (with 24+ hours notice), please call (617) 585-1340 Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm.
Wheelchair Access
Access seats for patrons at Jordan Hall are located in the platform sections in the circle and balcony. While there is an elevator to the balcony, the majority of seats require at least some steps to get to. The platform section is reserved ONLY for people who have access needs.
Accessible platform seats are available for Jordan Hall concerts. For general admission concerts, please contact a member of the usher staff upon arrival and they will be able to show you to our accessible platform seats. For assigned seated concerts, patrons requiring assistance should contact the NEC Box Office in advance of your visit by emailing box.office@necmusic.edu.

St. John’s Church:
Access Entrance:
There is a ramp outside the main entrance to the church which will bring you into the main seating area.
Audience Seating
Seating in St. John’s Church is completely flat and requires no stairs. Most available seating is in the church pews, with a few rows of additional chairs placed at the back of the hall and behind the musicians. Seating is general admission, but if you would like to secure a specific seat at the end of a pew or in a single chair for accessibility reasons, don’t hesitate to contact boxoffice@afarcry.org.
Restrooms
All restrooms are on a lower level and do require walking down a flight of stairs.
Assistive Listening Devices
Assistive Listening Devices are not available at St. John’s Church.
First Church Cambridge
First Church’s Sanctuary is wheelchair accessible, as is Lindsay Chapel, and Margaret Jewett Hall and the Hastings Room.
There are four accessible restrooms on the first floor, and two accessible (or disability) parking spaces on Garden Street in front of the church.
There are push-button automatic door openers at the 11 Garden Street entrance near the playground on the north side of the church.
Assistive Listening Devices are not available at First Church.
