Our Neighborhood chamber music series invites audiences into intimate musical spaces where stories, traditions, and communities come alive. Each concert highlights a different facet of connection—across cultures, generations, and landscapes—through the close-knit artistry of chamber music.

In October, Folie à deux, curated by Rafael Popper-Keizer, explores the unique intimacy of musical partnership through six striking duos for violin, viola, cello, and marimba. Moving through every two-instrument combination within the ensemble, music by Caroline Shaw, Osvaldo Golijov, Akshaya Avril Tucker, Paul Wiancko, and others reveals the many ways two voices can meet—with intimacy, tension, vulnerability, and joy.
